After visiting what seemed to be countless Assisted Living homes for our aging mother, we found a gem with Savana House. Clean, caring and great communication has made this transition for our family far less difficult then we could have ever hoped. As mom aged, the transition to Memory Care was seamless and allowed us to LOVE our mom vs having to take care of mom. Megan and Nadine are special angels for our family. Mom has been part of the Savana community for almost 2 years now, thanks team for making her feel special!!

In Oct 2025, we made the tough decision to put our mom in a memory care facility due to advanced Alzheimers. After visits to many places, our family chose Savanna House, Gilbert AZ. Our biggest concerns were if the staff would take care of mom at the level of our expectations. Well our prayers were answered. The staff at SH far exceeded our expectations as they always showed so much love and care for mom. This includes, but not limited too, Diana, Janelle, Nadeen, Jackie, Mari, Megan, Mandi, Ashley, Lea, Abe, Xavier, Lisa, Shannon, Gilbert, Kathryn, Loretta, Landon, and many more who I’m probably forgetting their names. Family visited mom almost everyday until she passed in late Feb 2026. Mom’s interaction, and our interaction, with staff gave us comfort knowing she was always being provided great care and love. Mom sure loved the ice cream from their special ice cream parlor. Our family is deeply grateful for the level of compassion provided to our mom in this very difficult time of need. We can’t thank you enough for answering our prayers.
Overall, we’re really pleased with where we live here at Savanna House. The concierge office has been very helpful and staff in the care centers are right on the spot anytime we need them. We had a mild issue with the restaurant, but we’ve solved it more or less we understand, there are issues with supplies that’s it. They’re also lots of activities for folks who live here both inside and outside Savanna House there are side trips and things to do inside like games and bingo and so forth.
Our family had a sudden series of events requiring us to find a memory care facility for our mother. a process that is a month or longer was compressed into a few days. We toured several locations in Gilbert, Az. close to us. Up until Savanah house, the great majority of what was offered was similar. Savanah house stood apart in that the program is set up to have a broad range of residents versus those further along in their journey. this was coupled with the warm welcome and hospitality shown by Gina. Further, as we completed the process of admission, the team was open to discussing exactly where our mother was in terms of additional needs. When faced with all the challenges of getting a loved one into a safe, thriving and warm environment, we can't say enough about the incredible experience we had and sense will continue for years to come.
