Finding an assisted living home for your loved one is never easy. In my case, it was especially challenging because I needed a place where both of my parents could stay together, even though their medical needs were very different. My mother was living with dementia, and my father required a different type of care. After touring many facilities and not finding the right fit, I was starting to lose hope.
That changed the moment I walked into Serenity of North Scottsdale. From the very beginning, I knew this was the perfect place for my parents. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and it was immediately clear that the staff truly cared about each resident as an individual.
During their time at Serenity, the caregivers provided exceptional, personalized support for both of my parents. They treated them with respect, dignity, and genuine compassion. When my father passed away, I was deeply concerned about how my mom would handle the loss after 69 years together. The staff was extraordinary in guiding her through this transition—showing patience, empathy, and kindness every step of the way. They not only cared for her physical needs but also nurtured her emotionally during one of the hardest times in her life.
I want to sincerely thank Edward and his team—Rachel, Avia, and Angel—for the outstanding care they provided. Their dedication gave me peace of mind knowing my parents were safe, supported, and loved. Serenity’s smaller size, with a maximum of only 10 residents, allowed for true one-on-one attention and created a family-like environment where my parents could feel at home.
I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Serenity of North Scottsdale to anyone searching for a safe, compassionate, and loving home for their loved one. Choosing Serenity was the best decision I could have made for my family, and I will always be grateful for the care and kindness they showed to both of my parents.
Such wonderful caring staff! Angel and Rachel treated my Dad with empathy, dignity, and respect. This 10 bed group home treated him like family!! Residents gather together for delicious nutritious home cooked meals. Would highly recommend this facility for a family member who needs quality round the clock care!!!
Serenity is more than an assisted living residence, it is a home. My Mom has lived here for 5 years. I tried keeping my mom in her own home with an aide but this did not work. She lives in a beautiful room and has access to the entire home. She receives the care and respect she deserves. There are 10 rooms available with aides that are so attentive to everyone’s needs. Eva, is the main caregiver and she is terrific. All the meals are home cooked and served family style. John is the owner. He is so kind and caring. My Mother treats him like a son. I am across the county. John keeps me informed about all health concerns that arise. I could not manage this situation without the care my Mom receives. I highly recommend Serenity to anyone looking for care for their loved one.
