My mother moved to Cogir the end of February 2026. Moving a 92 year old isn’t the easiest task. However, I felt this was going to be good for my mother and the family.
Cogir really presents like an extended family. The staff is courteous and helpful. The administration is unmatched: they do what they promise. That alone is a reason to move your loved one here.
Let me be clear: No situation is perfect. I make my concerns known - clearly and distinctly-and they are addressed.
The residents are another reason to move here. During our tour and lunch I couldn’t believe how friendly the residents were. I believed it was staged - a performance to get new residents. I was wrong. The residents are just as friendly now - months later after my mother has also become a resident. My mother has made many friends.
I would like to thank the staff by name but it would take a lot of time and I am sure I would forget someone. Thank you Cogir for helping my mother during her adjustment to this new environment. We continue to fine tune her experience and look forward to many happy days. We are happy to be here.
Thank you Cogir at Continental Ranch!
I totally love how the staff has taken care of my mom. From day one they have all treated her,and is like long lost family. They have gone way above to make her feel comfortable and welcome. She has been joining in on outings and group projects. I have posted some of her pictures on my Facebook page and friend's and family have said how happy and great she looks.
I would totally recommend Cogir to anyone looking for a place .
My mother recently moved in to assisted living here. All I can say is, Wow! The staff are completely amazing in every way. They are making this transition so much easier than I would have ever imagined. On top of this, the residents have all been so welcoming and kind to my mother. They really seem happy here. I love going to visit and having meals there with her and talking with the others. It already feels like home. Food is very good, the building and grounds are immaculate, and the caregivers and housekeepers are all wonderful. Love all three amazing concierge ladies at front desk - Mary Lee, Cheri, and Gabby - who make me smile every time I pass by. And the team that helped get us in the door - Leslie, Patty, Tony, and Monica - they have really helped me and my mom out during this crazy period of adjustment. Can't wait for my mom to really settle in and start regularly enjoying the numerous activities and amenities. There is so much to experience there. My best advice to anyone who is helping a loved one transition to assisted living is to accept that this can be a very overwhelming process and know that it's completely fine to ask any and all questions that come to mind. There are so many pieces to the puzzle. The people at Watermark really do care and will help you with each facet of the unknown. I am beyond lucky to have found this comfortable and supportive community for my mother, and I look forward to all of the good times to come.
Love this place and so does my father. The entertainment there for all the residents is amazing Tony the guy in charge does a great job. This was surprising to me. I was not expecting that level of commitment out of a community like that. I hope that one day my children send me here and I hope that Toni is still there upon my arrival
I'm so thankful for everyone at The Watermark. As soon as I walked in for my tour I was blown away by the atmosphere: immaculately clean surroundings, friendly staff interacting with residents (by name), and happy people everywhere! So many residents were socializing, lounging, or taking advantage of amenities, which are plentiful. There is plenty of room to roam, but the facility isn't so big that it's overwhelming. The food is excellent, and meal times are flexible. There's always snacks out, too! Thoughtful little touches like that make it feel more like home.
Leslie was instrumental in helping us over some unforseen hurdles and making sure my dad had a safe place to go after he was released from skilled nursing. During move-in, Tony was there to help with everything, including entertaining my kids while I set up my dad's room. He's even available to help my dad with his phone and occasional tech issues. Marisol has been so helpful and communicative in working out issues with my dad's meds and care plan. The whole staff is kind, supportive, and watchful.
I whole-heartedly recommend The Watermark for assisted living. I can rest much easier knowing that he's in a safe place getting assistance from people who actually care and interact with him daily.
