My family had a loved one reside at this facility and while our experience with the day-to-day care was not the reason for this review, our experience with management after his death was extremely disappointing.
The facility had been paid in advance for the month. After our family member passed away, there was an unused portion of that payment that should have been refunded. We made multiple attempts to resolve the matter with the facility and management, but received little meaningful communication about when the refund would be issued.
I understand that administrative matters can sometimes take time, particularly after the death of a resident. But families dealing with the loss of a loved one should not also have to repeatedly pursue money that is owed to them or struggle to get a clear response from management.
This is a wonderful assisted living facility with the memory care option. It is a home away from home atmosphere and the facility is very clean. I toured this yesterday with a friend and I had a friend living there for a couple of years so I know that this is a very well-run facility. Family owned and caring staff
Everyone from the top management down to the custodial help were personal and wonderful. My mother and mother in law; at different times were brought here to live out the rest of their days. They were all well tended to. Both were happy at Villas of Hollybrook. We had done all the homework and shopping for a facility in Bradenton. The other facilities did not offer the intimate quality level of care.
