Charlie★★★★★3 months agoVisual evidence, such as photographs, effectively conveys the dire living conditions faced by individuals in situations where mold or deteriorating roofs pose significant risks. It is imperative that the state takes immediate action to investigate and address these issues. I empathize with the residents who endure such challenging circumstances. These individuals are often forced to reside in facilities due to the absence of adequate support from their families and friends. However, their voices are frequently disregarded when they attempt to express their concerns. It is crucial for society to prioritize the well-being of our loved ones and ensure that they are provided with safe and appropriate living environments. While I firmly believe that such conditions are unacceptable, I encourage you to form your own opinion and consider the implications of your actions. I sincerely hope that the state will intervene and take necessary measures to rectify these situations.
Eli von Telos Thompson★★★★★a month agoI received a 48 hour notice from Humana that I had to move my dad from the rehabilitation facility he was in. I had to immediately find a place for him, after touring four different facilities, I toured the Woodlands Village. The residents there seemed very happy and well taken care of.Then when things went a little sideways, the staff there went above and beyond what would normally be expected to help me get my father into a proper care facility. The staff is absolutely amazing Deanne, Jennifer and Andrew went beyond anything I could’ve expected to make sure this would happen and in a very timely manner. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
Michaele Haas★★★★★a week agoMy mother moved her sister into The Woodlands a little over a year ago because it seemed affordable, lively, and welcoming. While the community was a bit outdated, we were encouraged by the plans management shared for improvements, including a new roof, landscaping, updates to the courtyard, improvements to the area behind her sister’s unit, and replacement of her lanai carpet and repair/painting of the lanai itself.
Unfortunately, very few of those promised improvements ever happened. Instead, we watched the community decline in other ways. The resident bus, which is some of the residents only means of transportation off campus, rarely operated. Pest control seemed to become less of a priority, with issues including roaches and termites and activities for residents were few and far between.
What initially seemed like a friendly, active community turned out to be a disappointing experience. Our loved ones deserve a safe, well-maintained environment with opportunities for social connection and a management team that follows through on its commitments. Based on our experience, this community fell short of those expectations.

My mom’s unit is a studio with new carpets and floors. When I arrived to move her in it looked great, still little tasks to accomplish but the staff was super responsive and helpful.
The entire process of getting accepted and doing the paperwork was very easy, straightforward and well organized.
Staff was clear and accurate on costs and timing and in my case moved mountains to get her in quickly.
Value is extraordinary and fantastic as similar places charge almost double for the same amenities.
Food smells and looks great absolutely restaurant quality. Activities and excursions are abundant.
Finally staff is super friendly, caring, helpful and was great to work with.

The community is making great renovations—I especially love the new kitchen backsplash—and the spacious first-floor apartments (no elevators) with beautiful cathedral ceilings are larger than most. It’s very easy to get around, and other residents are friendly and welcoming. The patios are perfect—especially for dog owners. Activities are excellent thanks to a talented activities director, and maintenance is attentive to resident needs. The sales team makes the paperwork process simple and stress-free. My friend loves it there!!! Pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this community.
