5 stars for it being new & decorated so nicely.
3 stars for staff friendliness. It is hit & miss. Some are extremely friendly though.
2 stars for cleanliness of guest bathrooms.
(Grout on floor needs scrubbed- it is black. Also, I reported the far bathroom floor needing addressed 2 different days, & it still remained dirty).
0 star if you are “independent” & need medical help. My mother in law had super high blood pressure & the nurse said she could not call the paramedics because she was “independent”, vs “assisted” living. Thankfully we were there!
0 star If you have any pets & have a medical condition that requires hospitalization. They have nothing in place to help care for the animal(s) while you’re gone. Nothing. You must figure it out yourself.
Also, today when I was there caring for MIL’s cat, one of the main admins (who my MIL likes & is very friendly with) saw me & didn’t even ask about my MIL’s well being at all. I found that sad.
I feel some of the staff feels annoyed that I’m advocating & asking questions.
I’m not trying to be bitter, I genuinely hope this honest feedback can help them improve in areas that are lacking for residents sake.
This place is very expensive so my expectations are high.
Moving our grandmother into this community has been such a smooth and positive experience, and a huge part of that is thanks to Emily, the Marketing Director. From the very beginning, she made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free. Emily's caring, kind, and compassionate nature really stood out, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the people she works with. The community itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I’m so grateful for Emily's help—she made us feel confident that this was the perfect place for our grandmother. Truly a top-notch experience!
My mother recently moved into Memory Care. After meeting with the leadership staff, we decided the Grove would be a good fit for our mother. The moving in process was easy. The care giving staff has been attentive to my mother helping her to acclimate to her new surroundings. Everyone has shown her kindness, compassion and patience. After her first night, I was greeted with a beautiful smile and she said how wonderful everyone was to her, which made my heart so happy. Definitely a great decision for our mother and our family. We want the best for our mother. The food, the surroundings, the activities, the Directors are all excellent.
Just move in. Great place. Rooms are wonderful bright. Lobby is beautiful with chandeliers and piano. Dining rooms are great. The food is great! Prime rib tonight!!Staff is wonderful! You can see how they enjoy working here. Nurse on duty twenty four hours a day. I can say we both love it here. I highly recommend you live here when the time comes.I’m sure you will enjoy!
My mom and stepdad moved into an independent living apartment at the Grove when the facility opened late last year. In fact, they were the first residents to move in! It has been a great experience all around. Unfortunately, because of the hurricanes last fall, the opening was delayed. However, The Grove team could not have been more helpful or responsive in updating us on the situation. Happily, it was worth the wait! The new facility is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and my folks are always raving that the daily chef-prepared meals are varied and delicious. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't single out Kelsey, the Executive Director. She is hands-on in overseeing everything and she's also a truly nice person.
