Tabitha Mattison★★★★★3 months agoWe've had the pleasure of working with Lake Morton Plaza and have several mutual clients there. Their team consistently goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care and support for their residents. The staff is caring, compassionate, and always communicates well with families and community partners.
The activities team does a wonderful job creating fun, engaging programs that keep residents active and connected, and the dietary team prepares delicious meals that residents truly enjoy. It's always a pleasure working with everyone at Lake Morton Plaza. We appreciate their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to providing outstanding care. Highly recommend!
Victoria Wiggins★★★★★2 years agoI moved here into a two bedroom apartment as independent living in January 2022. The second bedroom is my office as I’m still working full time as an attorney with The apartment is beautiful and is actually an apartment; not a room!
You have an actual kitchen! I’m not great at taking photos due to cerebral palsy but the point is rarely does a congregate living community offer a unit which feels like any other apartment. The rent is $700 less than what I was paying at another independent living community.
The view is wonderful from my balcony. The staff is very caring and attentive and the food is very good! What’s amazing is how affordable it is.
UPDATE: I had a serious concern about the lack of notifications on policy changes regarding covid and other issues. Within hours of emailing my concerns to the Executive Director, she and the Regional Nurse met with me and explained the reasons for the change and agreed to work on doing a better job of keeping all residents informed. As a resident of two years, I am still amazed at the commitment of the staff to provide excellent care at such a reasonable rate and would not consider living anywhere else.
Tonnette Banks★★★★★a year agoLake Morton Plaza stands out for its caring staff, welcoming community, convenient location, and a rich selection of amenities and activities. It’s especially well-suited for those seeking a balanced mix of independence and attentive support in a vibrant senior living atmosphere.
Lake Morton Plaza isn’t just a senior living community—it’s a place where residents thrive. If you’re looking for a safe, welcoming, and joyful place for yourself or a loved one, this is the place. We are beyond grateful for the care and quality of life they provide.
If you’re considering this community, it’s wise to visit in person, experience the great environment, meet the amazing staff, and talk with residents to get the full picture!
edna wilson★★★★★a year agoLake Morton Senior Living is a gem! The staff is caring and attentive, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The community is clean, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged and happy. It's reassuring to know loved ones are in such a supportive environment.
Tricia V★★★★★5 years agoLake Morton Plaza is a great community. The staff is very friendly with the residents. It is like a big family! Alexis, the activities director is the best around!! She’s very organized and always planning fun events, including live music and other entertainment. Lake Morton Plaza is also very convenient for residents that are looking for aging in place. All of their apartments are licensed for assisted living and the residents wound not have to move out of their apartment should their needs change. I strongly recommend taking a tour! The staff is nice and the food is delicious!!
