Finding the right place for my 91-year-old mother was one of the hardest and most emotional decisions I have ever had to make. After searching and worrying about her care, I feel incredibly grateful that we found Platinum Oaks.
From the moment we arrived, the owner, Melissa, has been absolutely wonderful. She is kind, compassionate, caring, and genuinely invested in the residents and their families. Her warmth and personal attention have given me a sense of comfort and peace that I desperately needed during such a difficult transition.
The entire staff—Callie, Sonja, Melissa, and Stephen—have been amazing. They treat my mother with such patience, dignity, kindness, and genuine affection. It means everything to me to know that she is surrounded by people who truly care about her.
Moving a parent into assisted living is never easy, especially when you live miles away, but the love and care my mother receives at Platinum Oaks have made this transition so much easier for our family. I feel confident knowing she is in a safe, loving, and caring environment.
I cannot thank Melissa and the entire Platinum Oaks team enough for everything they do. I would wholeheartedly recommend Platinum Oaks to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated like family. ❤️
I thought bringing my father to a larger facility with more activities would be best. I found I was mistaken in the care that he needed was not there. I moved him to Platinum Oaks and I have to say Melissa is off the chart! The nurses are amazing, friendly, always active with Their resademts. I would give them 10 stars. They took amazing care of my father.
My father spent his final months at Platinum Oaks. This was the second facility he lived at. By far the level of care is unmatched. Staff has the highest integrity while caring for their residents. My father was treated as a king. He was a bit spoiled, but we did not complain. Being that it’s in a home with limited rooms gave the residents the specialized care they needed. They operated truly as a family. Eating meals together, games and favorite common shows they like.
The level of trust and relationship we had with the staff is something I will never forget. They are angels among us.
Hopefully I will never have this need but if I did I would want a place like this.
I am sorry that I have not posted a review earlier. Some years ago, I lost a close friend and after living at 3 other facilities we moved her to Platinum Oaks. We could not have asked for more caring and attention for my friends needs.
Fast forward a few years, my father was getting overcome with dementia and we needed to find him a place to live as he was too much work for my mother. I reached out to Platinum Oaks and luckily, they had a room available. Unfortunately, my father has now passed, but Melissa and her team helped make my father's life comfortable to the end. They were great, even though my father got angry and verbally abusive in his final weeks, they still gave him the love and attention he needed.
I must say, the love in a small home atmosphere, and the extra attention is fantastic, you just do not get that at the big facilities.

My husband lived at the Oaks for five years. He had excellent care and was treated as one of the caregiver’s family. They went way and beyond to make him content and satisfied. I will always be grateful for the loving care he received.
