Sodalis Merritt Island is a beautiful, welcoming, and very well-maintained community. The facility is always clean and inviting, and you can tell that the staff genuinely care about creating a comfortable environment for the residents and their families.
The leadership team is exceptional. Bonnie, in particular, has been wonderful—she is friendly, professional, approachable, and always accessible when you need something. Good leadership makes such a difference in a community like this, and it really shows in the atmosphere at Sodalis.
I’ve been very impressed with my experiences here and would absolutely recommend Sodalis Merritt Island to anyone looking for a caring, clean, and professionally managed senior living community.
Since the new manager, Bonnie, came on board there has been a dramatic change in service and attitude. Thank you, Bonnie. Also, Bambi is wonderful with the care of the residents. The new maintenance director has shown results and is a go-getter.
My mother loved it here. She made friends and was happy here. Go for a tour and know Sodalis will take care of everything for your loved one.
This place is amazing, the staff has been nothing but nice to my mother. They always go the extra mile, and the activities are always fun and it keeps my mom busy,Great job Crystal. Bambi always checks on my mom, and helps get the right meds she need's, the food is great, the other residents in the community are helpful and friendly, Nikki, Camden and Shellie, the med techs are so sweet and great at what they do, bc I know my mom can be a handful sometimes! Amanda and April are friendly and will always stop and talk to me with a smile. Christina and Teri are always fast to greet me when we walk in the door, I normally don’t do reviews on places, but they deserve it, excellent service with a heart!!

My family member, Myron, has been living at Sodalis for over a year now. Whenever I ask him about the staff, he constantly comments on how kind they are and how well he is taken care of.
That kindness extends to family members, too. When I ran into complicated insurance payment difficulties, the Executive Director, Bonnie, immediately stopped what she was doing to help. She didn't just do it once—she walked me through the process three separate times, never once complaining, just patiently helping me get everything resolved.
You can see the heart of this facility every single day. Residents are always gathered on the porch or patio, enjoying each other's company or working on puzzles together. On one visit, I even walked in to find the receptionist sitting with a small group of residents, reading aloud to them.
Most importantly, Sodalis balances excellent care with respect for personal independence. They empower Myron to feel in control of what he can do for himself while ensuring he gets the exact level of support he needs. The entire environment is thoughtfully designed for every resident to succeed and thrive. I am so grateful for Bonnie and the wonderful team at Sodalis!

I am a home health nurse working side by side with the staff. I am in and out daily and the staff is amazing. I appreciate that I am treated like one of the family by the other employees. I am always greeted with a smile and a hello at the receptionist desk by Ms.Cristina. April is hands on with ensuring visitors that are looking for an active senior living home are greeted with care compassion dignity and respect.
Crystal goes above and beyond to plan, decorate and engage the residents. She makes sure that theres always something for the residents to do and I can tell you if I'm visiting a resident and there's an activity going on I need to plan my visits by utilizing the Activity calendar.
The administrator Has an open door policy and she works hard to resolve any issue brought to her attention.
