Stephanie Oro★★★★★a year agoI wanted to take a moment to write this email after recently visiting your facility. My parent was a resident here years ago, back when it was under previous ownership. While there were some sweet memories, I ultimately had to remove my parent because the quality of care and cleanliness at the time were not up to standard.
That is why I was so happy to see the facility under new ownership now. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the difference—and I was especially delighted to see some familiar, happy faces.
In particular, I want to recognize Amanda at the front desk. She is truly an outstanding and loyal employee. Amanda spoke very highly of the new ownership, the improvements you are making, and the way your team is working together. She was attentive to all my questions, informative about the updates and remodeling, and made sure I felt included and well-informed about the changes taking place.
It is wonderful to see the facility being updated and invested in, and I appreciate the effort you are making to create a better environment for seniors in the Miami Gardens community. I am excited to begin the process of getting my parent settled with you again, confident that they will feel as happy and comfortable here as they once did.
Thank you to the entire staff for the excellent work you are doing—and once again, special thanks to Amanda for her professionalism, kindness, and dedication. She is a true asset to your team.
Derek Graham★★★★★2 years agoWhat a phenomenal place! I'm so thrilled to have come in contact with this heart warming facility. The staff here are so welcoming and loving. The facility was cleaning and the way everyone interacted with one another was wonderful. What made me most excited was the way they interacted with our loved ones. They have so many things going on keeping them engaged in activities and outings. And also showing them love and compassion as if they were there on.
Valerie P★★★★★3 years agoI have to give this place 5 star rating due to the presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism of the staff.
I came in and was greeted by Erica who was very nice, pleasant, and professional which was very important to me because the receptionist in my opinion is the face of the facility. I was extremely happy with the decor, neatness and hospitality of the people there. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Colonial. I must say, I was impressed.
I hope everyone keeps up the good work.
Kudos to the people in charge. This reflects them as leaders as well.
Brandi Milliner★★★★★3 years agoI stopped by for a interview for my mother and I was very impressed by the staff and the facility. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by the front desk clerk who showed interest in my concern and helped guide me to the right directions. The CNAs and Med Techs were hands on with the patients and showed genuine care. Not only was the staff very sweet but the rooms was clean and sanitized very well. I was showed 3 different types of rooms and was amazed on how spacious and the amount of privacy given to each patient. I would highly recommend Colonial Assisted Living in Miami to anybody who is interested in giving their loved ones into the right hands!
Connie P★★★★★7 years agoColonial Assisted Living is a beautiful facility with very caring staff members. It is extremely clean and nicely furnished. The location is great because it’s near the highway and the facility is gated. They always have activities for the residents and theme parties to keep them entertained. They have various activities throughout the day and a program for residents through a behavioral health company that include group and individual therapy for those who need it and qualify. The staff is always pleasant and really care. I would recommend Colonial to family and friends. Great place!!!
