After experiencing three other assisted living facilities, we finally found the perfect home for our mom at Brookdale New Port Richey, and we couldn’t be happier!
At 89 years young, our mother is absolutely thriving! In fact, a doctor who recently visited her remarked that she is healthier now than she was four years ago! We truly believe this remarkable improvement is a testament to the exceptional care, kindness, and attention she receives every day.
The staff is not only knowledgeable and competent but genuinely warm, compassionate, and dedicated to the residents’ well-being. The wonderful variety of activities keeps our mom engaged, active, and socially connected, and she absolutely loves the food!
There is no greater peace of mind than knowing your loved one is happy, healthy, safe, and surrounded by people who truly care. Brookdale New Port Richey has given our mom a renewed zest for life, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

We want to thank Terri at Brookdale New Port Richey for taking the time to help us navigate a difficult transition for our sister and brother-in-law from their single family home into assisted living. We have visited multiple facilities, and even though Brookdale does not offer a larger two-bedroom, Terri was super knowledgeable regarding options in the area. She took the time to listen to our needs and advise us. But for her, we might have made the wrong choice. Brookdale is obviously a caring environment, with experienced, helpful staff. My dad moved here about six weeks ago. He is in a large studio apartment, which is actually quite roomy. I love that they offer outdoor and outside the facility activities like a car show recently. He really seem to enjoy seeing the antique cars there. The staff has been very friendly but I’ve got to give a shout out to Tina Lay. She has gone above and beyond. Any questions I have she is my go to person. And if she doesn’t know the answer, she directs me to who I need to talk to. Ruth at the front desk has also been wonderful. I love having him over on this coast and Brookdale seems to be a good fit.
My grandmother has been here for a couple of years now and she loves it. Amy helped us get our grandmother settled in and she was polite and helpful during the process. We picked this place because there are no hidden fees. They provide the room, meals, laundry, cleaning, daily activities and transportation to wal-mart, church, and doctor appointments.
We went up for lunch yesterday and it was the best lunches ever. The food came out hot and it was fresh. The servers are always so pleasant and friendly. They only charge $5 for a guest lunch which is very reasonable.
The Director walks around greeting people and making sure you have everything you need. When we were there last month we showed him something that needed fixed and he had someone fix it right away.
They take my grandmother to the store, to medical appointments, church and the occasional tour of local areas.
There is a beautiful courtyard that always has something blooming. They do such a nice job keeping the grounds looking nice.
She really enjoys the daily exercise class and the weekly card games. I know that they have craft sessions and they have entertainment come in, and theme days and family days.
Brookdale New Port Richey is a great place for any senior. The property is well managed and clean. The property is open and feels like a nice apartment complex and not a closed up ALF. The dining hall is fast and has attentive staff with great variety of meals cooked everyday. Definitely ask for Amy she helped us with options and gave a great tour. My Mother has been there for 6 months and the staff and property has exceeded our expectations. The Director is friendly and answers any questions the family has and Jill the medical team supervisor has helped us and always is close by. So when looking for a place for your loved one please consider Brookdale New Port Richey.
