Words cannot express how grateful our family is to Yolette and everyone at Golden Cove ALF for the love and care they provided to our dad during his final chapter of life.
Golden Cove is not a large, impersonal facility. It is a home where residents receive individualized attention, dignity, and genuine compassion. With a small number of residents, the care feels personal, and you can truly see the difference that makes.
Yolette, as the owner and administrator, puts her heart into what she does. Knowing that our dad was cared for in such a loving and attentive environment brought our family comfort during an incredibly difficult time. We will always be grateful for the kindness, patience, and compassion shown to him.
Choosing a place for a loved one is one of the most important decisions a family can make. If you are looking for a smaller, home-like environment where your loved one is treated with dignity, respect, and personal attention, I wholeheartedly recommend Golden Cove ALF.

I was very pleased with the care he received and by the friendliness, knowledge and dedication of the entire staff. The residence is clean and welcoming and provides a warm homelike environment, unlike what one would find in a large corporate owned facility. So many are unaware of the residential ALF alternative which no doubt, provides more personal one-on one care and attention. I am happy my dad’s “home” was one of comfort and loving attention. I definitely recommend Golden Cove for anyone who seeks a comforting "home within a home" for their aging loved one.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted with warmth, kindness, and professionalism. The staff genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable, respected, and valued.
The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The caregivers are attentive, compassionate, and patient, providing excellent care while treating residents like family. The activities and programs offered help keep residents engaged, active, and socially connected, creating a positive and uplifting environment.
Communication with families is outstanding, and it is reassuring to know that loved ones are in such capable and caring hands. The dedication of the entire team is evident in everything they do.

nicole brunelle★★★★★8 months agoI removed my father from one of the large corporate chains because of neglect, understaffing, and incompetence that nearly killed him. He's not only made an incredible physical and mental recovery under Yolette and Kim's personalized care at Golden Cove, but he's also very happy there. It's a smaller facility where your family member will be treated as person rather than a number. Golden Cove may not have a grand piano in their foyer, but the care is excellent, and the residents and their families are happy, which is what should be prioritized when evaluating ALFs.
