This is a very nice ALF. My sister has been here for 16 months. She is probably the youngest resident. A big bonus for us was allowing pets. Her confidence is back, she has new friends and she has her independence back. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. The CNAs and nurses are the bones of everything, They are the day to day care staff. They are attentive and responsive. They have a great system for managing medications. My sister now gets regular therapies. Management is available and very knowledgable. Oh and the food is freshly prepared -delicious!
What could be improved is getting repairs done. Many times it takes weeks or they are just not done at all. We can't put furniture or other big things in the dumpster so I load them in my car and take them back home. I think an orientation on how things are done or request forms would be helpful.
I am glad Spring Hills Hunters Creek, our 1st choice - was the right choice. The energy and sense of community was just what we were hoping for..
My wife & I have a singing group, and we recently performed for the first time for the residents at Springs Hills Hunter's Creek. It was a fabulous experience as we interacted with the residents. They were so very happy and well-adjusted. They wanted to sing and dance and have a good old time. There was a genuine feeling of peace and contentment and just a general positive spirit amongst the residents. This is a huge testament to the staff at Spring Hills and especially to the Director of Engagement, Emily Cartwright. She obviously has a great relationship with the residents, and it shows. My wife and I perform at many other assisted living facilities and without a doubt, Spring Hills is a place where we will very much look forward to returning again and again to have fun with the people who live there. When we perform somewhere, we can instantly "size" up the room and the general attitude. Some places just stare at us. Some sit quietly and are polite. Some are like Spring Hills where there is genuine sense of fun overall. We look forward to returning again to see all our new friends again soon. Thank you for your time.
It has taken a long time for me to write this review. My husband entered memory care (Spring Cottage) at this facility in July. It was a difficult transition for both my husband and my family. The staff was most supportive during this time. My husband was quite difficult. He has settled in since then and I cannot say enough good things about Spring Hills. They try to keep the memory care patients occupied. Residents are clean and well cared for. Facility is clean and also smells clean. I am comfortable with my husband being here knowing he is safe and well cared for.
My husband has had several former colleagues visit him and all have been impressed with Spring Hills.
I am not familiar with the assisted living side but they always seem to have fun and residents appear happy and comfortable.
I've performed music at Spring Hills Hunter's Creek many times. I'm always impressed at the fun events they have and the number of events and amount of music. There is lots for residents to do and have a good time. The events coordinator, Emily, is outstanding. I perform at many places and you don't always find all these great events. The residents really seem to love the Emily and the events staff.
This is a wonderful, warm, caring facility for residents. They offer a lot of activities on a regular basis and the staff are all so nice and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend Spring Hills to anyone that may need an assisted living option. The entertainment they bring in are fabulous and extremely talented, making the residents thoroughly enjoy the experience.
