If I could post this with no stars I would.
The outside looks lovely and appropriate. The inside looks like a crack house. Urine on the floor, a man scratching his arm until it bleeds and no one pays him any attention, and what looked like sheets to cover up the windows and block out the sun. I also spoke with a family member of someone who "lives" there and apparently there is no staff there during the night so much so that if there is an emergency the residents are the ones who make the calls.
I understand there are a lot of factors involved in selecting a home for family members, one of them being cost, but if you have even a bit of love for the person you'd confine there, don't let them stay there.
I know many people that work there. I also went to volunteer several times. When I have gone I have seen many injustice with the residents who live there. With the management of Samantha Nichols they are not professional at all. The employees are very rude and disrespectful They dont care for their residents like they should. I recommend anyone who wants to take family there to think twice before doing it because they will not be treated like they should as humans.
I wish I could give negative stars I can’t figure out how this place Is still open🤔. I mean they’ve already been on the news for neglecting the residents. Management Is the main problem because they DO NOT CARE they just walk around doing absolutely nothing collecting a paycheck. The facility looks presentable on the outside but It’s unsanitary and smells like a porta potty on the inside. There aren’t proper cleaning products for the housekeeping staff to sanitize so all they’re mainly doing Is taking out the trash, sweeping and then mopping the floors with water😒 There Is no soap, towels, or wash cloths for the residents to bathe so they can’t properly clean themselves and/or the Cna’s can’t properly bathe them If they need assistance. The facility also go days at a time with NO TISSUE for the residents nor the employee bathroom so a few of them have developed sores on and around their private areas. One Cna works at night but on her off days or If she has to call out for any reason then nobody Is there. If they fall or need medical help(If they are not non-verbal like a few of them are) they have to ask for another resident or wait until morning when all the staff comes back Into work. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THESE RESIDENTS!!! IF YOU HATE YOUR PARENTS SEND THEM HERE!!!😒
Having been a resident of the place for 3 1/2 years the last six months it has gone down the tubes I wouldn’t board a dog there the management can’t even keep a cook on staff much less other help. They’re only interested in money the talk a good story about caring about the resident however the bottom line is cash on the barrelhead
A wonderful place! The staff here is extremely caring and nice to these residents and was very helpful to all of my questions and needs. And not to mention it’s very nice inside!
