Should be called “Worst Care”!!! The staff are not professional, lazy and you have one resident thinking he’s the Kingpin of the dorm. It’s absolutely horrible. When I got approved they told a bunch of lies like “we have a doctor that takes your insurance”, it’s crazy!!! Some of the staff are too young and immature. I have to go to an outside doctor and there’s no stores close by I’m done with this place!!! DONT go there!!!
This place was conveniently close to home, so we tried it out. My grandmother stayed here for over a year and was constantly having a tough time getting the Med Techs to administer her the correct medication. My husband and I went to visit her on a summer afternoon and we sat on what appeared to be new chairs in the lobby (they looked used but we hadn't seen them there before this visit) while we waited for her to finish receiving her medication to go. We were getting bit by what we thought were ants while sitting in those chairs but didn't think much of it until after we got up and left. Long story short, we arrived at the store not even 5 minutes later with BED BUGS on us from those chairs. Needless to say we were very upset and disgusted and left the facility a voicemail telling them about the incident and highly suggesting they get rid of those chairs and treat the building for bed bugs. After the continuous failure of their staff to keep professional and correct their lack of care for their residents, I wrote a google review like this one explaining my concerns for anyone who might consider entrusting this place with their loved ones. The same week that I wrote the unsatisfactory review, the director and a member of the kitchen staff closed themselves in my grandmother's room with her and myself during a visit and seemingly tried to intimidate me into taking down the review. They told me that it was all lies and misconceptions and that I had no right to make the negatively impacting review. They insistingly suggested that I take it down. I feared for my grandmother's treatment and safety after that incidence and took down the review. Shortly after, we pulled her out of their care and she has been thriving ever since. Please do your research before placing your loved ones in an ALF, especially this one. Now that they cannot mistreat my family member any longer, I would like them to know that they are lucky they aren't shut down for the shady things that go on in there. Know that if your loved ones are telling you they are experiencing mistreatment from their facility, they are more than likely telling the truth.
The price I paid was way too high for what they do! I had to go in every three days to give my mother a shower, cause they don’t take the time to do it! They always complain. They don’t have enough staff to do it. The food is disgusting, they don’t give them enough to drink. They only give them 3 ounces of water at a time. My mother had the worst scabies ever, and they cannot get rid of it in the building, and on the people due to the laundry issues they have there. If you care for any of your loved ones DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!!!! I had my mother here a full year, which I wish I could change. But I have her in a nice facility that really cares about her and gives her showers and feeds her well now !
From the welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional staff, every aspect of this community exceeds expectations. The caregivers are professional, kind, and genuinely care for each resident. The facility is clean, well-designed, and offers a variety of engaging activities. The sense of community here is remarkable, making it feel like a true home. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful care our loved one receives. Highly recommend!
