I moved my 81 year old grandmother from a memory care facility in Kentucky down to Sarasota in March of 2026. Susan and Marissa helped immensely with the details. especially worth mentioning, on her day of arrival our flight came in later than expected, and we didn’t arrive at the facility until around 8:30pm. Yet they made sure she had everything she needed to ensure a smooth transition. They were very welcoming and helped us with each step along the way.
My grandmother was only there for 4 months before she passed away, but she felt at comfortable there and was always taken care of, and they always communicated everything that was going on to us. Every time I went to visit, my grandmother’s room was cleaned and organized, and she was interacting with the community way more than she was when she was in the facility in Kentucky.
If you’re looking for memory care, I can’t say enough good things about Liana. The nurses, caregivers, housekeepers, and leadership team helped make her last few months a good experience for her and for my wife and I.
Liana takes superior care of my 100 year old mom with severe dementia. There is plenty of staff, they are very attentive, they always know where she is and what she is up to: there are many eyes on her. Her room is very clean and she is bathed frequently. This isn’t easy as dementia patients don’t always like showering! My mom is engaged in exercise and activities. The food is very good. The ED communicates thoroughly and the billing staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition to our long term care insurance. This is a fantastic facility!
Liana Memory Care Community provides exceptional care. The staff is compassionate and attentive, the community is always clean and welcoming, and the new team of directors are professional and truly committed to high-quality care. Highly recommend!
I am an RN in the area and I know what good care looks like. I have seen the good, bad, and the ugly of elder care facilities. Liana is the GREAT! This affordable elder care facility offers good meals for residents and is set up beautifully for a good mix of social time and relaxation for the residents. My grandmother who is a resident lights up when she sees the staff! They truly love her and see loves them. It makes me very happy to feel secure that she is being taken care of WELL! Also the Nurse Practitioner Brianne Foster is incredibly professional, caring, and communicative. Five stars for this facility. Keep up the good work!
My stepdad moved into Liana a few months back. My mother was hesitant to place him because we always cared for him at home, after a search of places we decided on Liana. We are very happy with the care. Jayne the director of nursing does a great job, We have been satisfied with move in process and the activities have helped keep his mind occupied
