If you are reading this, you are most likely overwhelmed and emotional. Just making the decision that a loved one can't stay in their home is devastating. My search took me to many places. Then I found Sunset Club at Prestancia. Here, at the Club, your mind will be at ease. Your loved one will be treated with respect. Suncoast is clean, well maintained and has fresh restaurant style meals. But for me, the staff is everything. Their kindness was evident immediately. Their concern for the residents is the culture. Call for a tour. Steve will answer all your questions. (While he was showing me around, I was taken with the fact the he knew all the residents names!) This level of awareness and respect creates a home!
When we were looking for Moms new home we were blown away by the level of professionalism. Compassion and overall wonderful atmosphere of this community. Steve the sales manager took the time to engage with mom and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the whole process of getting her situated. Mom loves looking forward to seeing Stella, the French bulldog, when she is sometimes “working” in the office.🥰
I thought it would have changed for the better once bought out. Nope. 3 people in wheelchairs upon walking in, all were being ignored. Staff walked right by them as the clients tried to talk to them. One women, who obviously had dementia kept asking for a ride back to her home. After being ignored for 20 minutes, she gave up and decided to go out the front doors and get halfway between the facility and the apartments next door. She stopped to ask the delivery driver to give her a ride. The staff member said, I should go get her before she goes any further. No security protocol for these patients. No other staff members were aeen walking around. Short staffed as usual. Facility was clean, but that's all I can say was a positive.
After touring several places for our uncle, the Heron Club stood out to us. The most beautiful building and grounds exceeded our expectations The staff members were so friendly and took time to speak with us. All of us felt very comfortable here. We chose Heron Club for our uncle because of all the positive vibes we got. We are so happy and grateful that we did. A special thanks to Steve Verdelli. We couldn’t have done it without your help and expertise.
Amazing tour yesterday! I felt right at home the minute I walked through the door and the Sales guy, Steven, hadn’t even seen me yet!! I was early and 4 different people greeted me in that 7 minutes and introduced themselves. Talk about hospitality! My mama is going to fit right in here and I just couldn’t be more thrilled. We sign tomorrow for Assisted Living and her room has a balcony that overlooks the water. I just can’t say enough how grateful I am right now!
