John Luciene★★★★★4 months agoThis place, this incredible HOME, is by far the best kept secret in the Tampa Bay area. My only regret is that we didn’t find it sooner. From the moment we spoke with Manuel and his son Austin, I knew this would be a completely different experience from my mother’s previous ALF, and I was right!
Beautiful home, home cooked meals, cozy private rooms and an incredibly caring and attentive staff.
My mother’s time there was short, unfortunately, but she was treated as if she was the mother of every staff member there! Walking into the Abigail, I was again and again amazed to see each and every single person being cared for and attended to for their specific individual needs. Austin and his staff are very professional, skilled and genuinely compassionate. During one of the most difficult periods of our lives, Austin and his staff provided not only outstanding care for my mother, but also tremendous support for my family. We are forever grateful!
You get what you pay for and the Abigail is worth every penny!

Dennis Jungerberg★★★★★7 months agoThe Abigail is an excellent facility that provides very good care. This facility is clean, very well run, and they genuinely seem to care about their residents. Food is excellent and the therapists they work with are great! It’s a smaller facility so there is a very high staff to resident ratio which means someone will always be there to help.
Deborah McFadden★★★★★4 years agoThe Abigail house is amazing. I am so grateful for the care and love that the staff has given to my Mom over the last 8 months. The staff takes immaculate care of their residents, feeds them great meals, and provides them with a warm environment. On my very first visit, I entered the beautiful house and saw at least 10 sweet residents watching a movie together.
The owner has always had great communication with me. Forever grateful, Deborah
Vena Ulm★★★★★4 years agoI can not say enough about the compassionate care the Abigail provided my terminally ill sister. The facility is immaculate and the food amazing. The owners and staff are caring, loving people who are very attentive to both patients and their families. Unfortunately, my sister has passed now, but I felt she received the best care Tampa had to offer. They staff has a wonderful working relationship with other community programs that are able to aid in the care of your loved one. I felt my sister was in a home with loving, caring family members, not a corporate facility. I highly recommend The Abigail for your loved one and for family support as well.
Carl Ash★★★★★4 years agoMy mother in law lived in Austin House the last four months of her life. The staff there is incredible and during the four months that she lived there, I was completely confident that she received the best care possible. All of the ladies are unbelievable caregivers and truly care about the residents. That is a very rare thing to find. If you are looking for a place that will take great care of your loved one, I highly recommend Austin House!!
