I am writing this as a daughter with a completely broken heart.
My precious 92-year-old Momma has dementia and spent five years at Arbor Terrace Citrus Park—three years upstairs in Assisted Living and two years in the Memory Care neighborhood. She knew the staff, her surroundings, and the people who cared for her. This was her home.
Then, after five years, Arbor Terrace told us Momma needed skilled nursing and discharged her. What I still cannot understand is that Momma was doing the transfer and pivoting that we had been told she needed to be able to do.
Then, on August 25, 2026, Momma fell while being pushed in her wheelchair through the front entrance. She suffered a fractured clavicle, a hematoma, and tremendous pain.
Momma is having a really hard time coming back from this. Only God knows if she will and momma is in his hands. 🙏🏻
She is 92 years old. She has dementia. She cannot always speak for herself or understand why everything familiar has suddenly been taken away.
I keep asking myself: How can you do this to a vulnerable sweet elderly woman who trusted you for five years? How can you sleep at night knowing the pain and confusion she has been going through?
I trusted Arbor Terrace with my Momma. That trust was broken and Momma is the one living with the consequences.
Momma deserved compassion. She deserved dignity. She deserved patience. She deserved to feel safe. Most of all, she deserved better. 💔
This is a very nice place! The grounds and interior are always immaculate! I have visited several times for different events they have had. It is always so much fun! Susan Dietz, Carly and their staff are always so energetic and fun! From what I have seen the level of care is top- notch. The well-being and dignity shown to each resident is amazing. The activities are awesome too! I look forward to more visits!
As a home health provider who frequently visits Arbor Terrace Assisted Living, I can confidently say this facility is top-notch. The staff-to-resident ratio is excellent, which truly shows in the level of attention and care each resident receives.
The team is attentive, compassionate, and proactive. Communication between staff, healthcare providers, residents, and families is consistent and thorough, which makes a significant difference in continuity of care.
I’m always impressed by the thoughtful activities offered to residents that keep them engaged, social, and stimulated. The environment is clean, welcoming, and well-managed.
It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents’ well-being and quality of life. I highly recommend Arbor Terrace to families seeking a supportive and professional assisted living community.
We are fortunate to have my parents living in the independent living area of this community and my mother in law is in assisted living. In each instance, they receive wonderful care, appropriate for the stage of life they are in. The buildings and interiors are lovely and their apartments are well appointed with lovely finishes. The dining options are restaurant style and often updated to adjust to feedback of the residents. I visit regularly, going from area to area and you can see the staff working quietly and cheerfully to care for our loved ones. I am so thankful we found this community.

Tammy at the front desk is absolutely wonderful. She greets everyone with kindness and professionalism and is always ready to help with anything that comes up. Her warm personality really sets the tone for the entire community, and she goes above and beyond for residents and their families.
My dad lives at Arbor Terrace and truly loves it there. He has made so many great friends and genuinely feels at home. It brings so much peace of mind knowing he’s in a place where he feels comfortable, connected, and cared for.
Highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a beautiful and supportive place for their loved one!!
