First visit to Watercrest, Dolsie made a wonderful impression. I was touring the community as a possible place for my father to live after being released from the hospital. She greeted me with a warm smile and was attentive and helpful without ever making the experience feel Like a sales pitch. During what was an overwhelming and emotional time for our family, her genuine kindness immediately stood out.
We have since moved my father to Watercrest and Dolsie’s kindness and helpful demeanor have continued. She is always willing to help, answer questions, provide information, and offer thoughtful tips for navigating this new stage of life. - Not only for my father, but for our entire family
One interaction, especially touched us. My son arrived unannounced to visit his grandfather, and Dolsie immediately noticed the room number he was visiting and engaged him in a warm conversation about my dad. That simple interaction meant so much to my son. It made him feel reassured and genuinely good about this being the place where his “Poppie now lives. My two daughters have had similar interactions.
Those small, personal moments matter tremendously when a family is adjusted to assisted living. Dolsie has a wonderful ability to make people feel welcomed, remembered, and cared, for she is often one of the first people residence and families encounter when they walk through the door, and Watercrest could not ask for a better ambassador for its community. We are very grateful for the kindness, warmth, and genuine care. She continues to show our father and family.
This community is beautiful and it feels warm and welcoming. Declan always has something unique and exciting planned for the residents, creating an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere. The building is very well maintained and always smells fresh and clean. The resident rooms are thoughtfully designed with spacious layouts that feel comfortable. It’s clear the team takes great pride in providing a wonderful environment for those who live here. The memory care is especially inviting and always bustling with activity.
After touring many facilities I found Watercrest to be the most charming, accommodating, well kept, with the most affable staff. The food is very good and the activities are very fun. Family night is a great way to experience the heart of Watercrest.
Watercrest is beautiful, welcoming and spotlessly clean. I recently had to make the tough decision to place my mother into memory care, and after touring many places, I knew immediately that Watercrest was “the one” as soon as I visited. The way they have created a village center - “Market Street” within the memory care area is so creative, and a delightful environment. As lovely as the facility is, it’s truly the staff that makes Watercrest the best place for us. Their kindness, dedication, patience and professionalism is evident throughout the facility in all situations. I am grateful every day that my mother is safe in their care.
I'm updating my review. My first was 1 star. Since then, things have improved. Nursing staff is good. The other caregivers are decent but some are still unkind. And there's not enough. The kitchen is in constant flux. There hasn't been good management for a long time. You never really know what you're getting or when. But the dining room is very nice.
The person who runs activities, Loren, is awesome. Very personable and hard working.
The director is moving into a different position. Someone from corporate is coming in until they hire one. Never know what's going to happen.
The people that live here are great. It's a nice social community.
