We wish to thank the entire TerraBella organization for their splendid help in providing guidance to us for the continuing life planning care for JoAnne. And specifically the Fayetteville team members Cristal Pope, JoElla Hardee, Anika Russell and Ana Holtzclaw for making the selection and moving process much easier than it would have been without both their professional support combined with true empathy and kindness during this difficult time...Thank you all!

I love Terra Bella (Fayetteville). My dad and aunt are residents there and it is the best decision I have ever made after feeling guilty, I realized that I was making the right choice to have them become a resident. Thank you to Fran, Marilyn, Anika and Anna for being so wonderful with the process. Iam so comfortable with leaveing them in the care of the staff.
⚠️ WARNING – Terra Bella Memory-
Families considering Terra Bella’s memory care facility should be aware of serious concerns. My mother was in this facility for only six weeks, and during that short time her health and independence declined in ways that were alarming and completely avoidable.
On my last visit before removing her, I found her sitting in a urine-soaked bed and chair with feces in her adult brief, asking me for help. Staff told me she had “just been changed,” but her condition made it clear that this was not true. No resident—especially in memory care—should ever be left in that state.
Before entering Terra Bella, my mother was able to walk with minimal assistance, use the bathroom on her own, and manage most of her hygiene. After six weeks in this facility, she became fully dependent, weak, and unable to perform basic tasks she previously handled daily.
We also paid a significant amount of money just to get her admitted, trusting that she would receive safe and consistent care. Instead, we witnessed repeated neglect, dismissive responses to concerns, and a noticeable decline in her overall health.
What makes this even more troubling is the complete lack of follow-up from facility leadership. The director, nurse, and administrative director were all notified of our concerns multiple times. Despite being put on notice, none of them followed up or made any meaningful effort to address or correct the issues we raised. Their silence and inaction only reinforced the lack of accountability within the facility.
While a supervisor did clean her once I demanded immediate assistance, that isolated moment does not undo the long-standing pattern of inadequate care that led to her decline.
I am posting this warning so other families can make informed decisions. In my experience, Terra Bella did not provide the level of care, dignity, accountability, or supervision that memory care residents require and deserve
I had a concern with a situation that occurred at the Terra Bella facility. I spoke to Miss Fran( Director) of facility, she addressed my concerns and made me feel that the situation would be better.
Shanaye (assistant to director) always is very pleasant and professional. She has answered all my questions when I asked her.
These two ladies make me feel comfortable with my family member being in their care.
We toured TerraBella in Fayetteville. It is a beautiful facility and the residents we came in contact with appeared happy and comfortable. Unfortunately, my parents cannot afford this facility. Joella was very kind and offered us help in finding a facility more in my parents’ budget and offered to help us identify any financial assistance my parents might qualify for. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely professional and was willing to help.
