We moved my mom here in April and we could not be happier. The apartment and common areas are beautiful and the people that work there make it feel like home. Everyone has been so helpful, caring and responsive. The food is delicious and the staff have put a lot of thought into the many daily activities that they offer the residents. We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful community.
Waltonwood Lead Mine has exceeded our expectations in every possible way. My parents were the very first residents to move in, and from day one we were completely blown away. The community is beautiful, warm, and thoughtfully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the people. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in the residents’ well-being. They took the time to get to know my parents as individuals and made the transition feel smooth, welcoming, and reassuring for our entire family.
The level of care for memory care, is exceptional. Communication has been proactive, the environment feels safe yet vibrant, and there’s a real sense of dignity and respect in how residents are treated. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism with such heartfelt kindness, but Waltonwood does exactly that. We feel incredibly grateful and confident knowing my parents are not just cared for, but truly valued. I would wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone seeking assisted living or memory care for a loved one.
Waltonwood Lead Mine is a special place to live. Everyone is welcoming and are there to help with whatever is needed. Nothing is too small. We feel fortunate to have found such an incredible home for my mom to thrive.
The Waltonwood team, especially Nick and Greyson, were extremely accommodating with the challenges associated with a move from a rehab facility. They worked with us on both the medical accommodations and a changing timeline. All the staff we've met are pleasant and helpful. The facilities are great and geared to support continuous levels of care and offered a wide-ranging set of activities for the residents.
My parents are residents at Waltonwood Lead Mine. I can't put into words how kind, and patient, and gracious the staff have been. With amazing facilities and smiles everywhere, this place is head and shoulders above their last assisted living facility. It's so great knowing that they're being cared for.
