Care fees. Assisted living rates are for the room, meals and basic services; help with bathing, dressing or medications is assessed and billed as a care level on top. Prestige Care Aventura has not confirmed its care fee tiers; ask for the assessment schedule on your tour.
Community fee. Most communities charge a one-time move-in fee, often one month's rent or more; not confirmed here. Ask whether it is refundable and when.
Increases. Rates typically rise once a year; ask for the last three years of increases and whether care-level changes are re-assessed on a schedule.
